Grants (EDGE)

What EDGE covers, eligibility, step-by-step application, standards listed under EDGE, other schemes.

What changed

Enterprise Singapore's EDG, MRA and PSG schemes ceased on 29 September 2026. From 30 September 2026, business grant support is applied for under the EDGE Grant. Ongoing EDG, MRA and PSG projects continue to be processed.

What EDGE offers

EDGE covers 8 business areas and more than 150 activities, including Standards. Support is up to 70% for SMEs and up to 50% for non-SMEs depending on the activity, with up to S$100,000 in total grant support per year across all activities. The cap refreshes on 1 April each year. Grants are paid as reimbursement after the activity is completed and paid for.

Standards support

For most standards, EDGE supports up to 50% for SMEs and up to 30% for non-SMEs. Sustainability standards such as SS 587 are supported at up to 70% for SMEs and up to 50% for non-SMEs. Supported costs are professional services and first-year certification or testing by an accredited body. Surveillance and renewal audits, GST and software are not supported.

Who is eligible

Businesses registered and operating in Singapore, with at least 30% local ownership by Singapore citizens or PRs, that have not applied before for the same standard (any version), and that have not started work or paid any vendor before applying. Projects must be completed within 12 months of approval.

How to apply

  1. 1

Prepare the consultant's proposal and quotation, the consultant's SS 680 certification, the certification body's quotation and accreditation details, and projections of revenue and jobs.

  2. 2

Apply yourself on the Business Grants Portal using Corppass, with your own authorised staff; consultants and other third parties cannot apply, manage the grant, pay or claim for you.

  3. 3

Declare any relationship with your vendors; related parties cannot be used.

  4. 4

Accept the Letter of Offer. Vendors cannot be changed after approval.

  5. 5

Complete the project and submit deliverables, including the accredited certificate.

  6. 6

Claim after full payment, with invoices billed by the consultant named in the Letter of Offer, by PayNow Corporate or GIRO.

Working with ICFC on EDGE

ICFC's consultancy is led by SS 680:2021 certified consultants. Our proposal names the certified consultant, includes their SS 680 certification details, and sets out the scope and quotation EDGE asks for. We do not apply, pay or claim on your behalf, we do not offer rebates or other incentives linked to a grant, and we do not quote different prices because a grant is involved. For our SS 680 certified consultants' roles, certificate numbers, issuing body and expiry dates, or a link to the issuing body's register, please email us through the contact form.

Other funding

CSA funds the first Cyber Trust certification (up to S$3,600 across the four pillars) and the first Cyber Essentials certification for Singapore-incorporated SMEs and non-profits until 6 February 2028, deducted by the CSA-appointed certification body. For the DPTM, IMDA points companies to Enterprise Singapore, now the EDGE Grant, and charities to NCSS Tech-and-GO!. IMDA indicates funding support for some CBPR and PRP costs. CSA also supports eligible SMEs through CSA-listed CISO-as-a-Service providers. Training funding depends on each course's approval status.

Grant information is a summary for convenience, checked on 11 October 2026. Enterprise Singapore, CSA and IMDA decide eligibility and amounts. Always confirm on the official pages before applying.
